Don’t be afraid to get creative and experiment with your marketing.
This is probably my favourite growth hack story in recent times and it’s beautiful.
Do watch the below video, and I am sure you’ll love it too!!
Loved it?? It’s amazing at so many levels!!
Just when you thought that growth hacks are for small-mid scale tech startups, you see a food brand like Burger King Hacking the system!
Here is what I feel worked in this campaign!
Leverage: BK saw what other’s didn’t. A relatively small and unknown football club which would appear in the popular FIFA 20 video game and that you can signup players like Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar to that team, and have them score some goals with the BK logo on that jersey.
Peak-Ends Rule: You remember the Highs and Ends of any event. The highest being here were the goals scored by top players! Getting the users to post this on their social media was sure to get the right attention.

The Burger King Stevenage Challenge was a resounding success. The campaign generated significant media coverage and social media buzz. Over 25,000 goals were scored by gamers playing as Stevenage FC, and the team's home shirt sold out for the first time in the club's history. The campaign also helped Burger King to reach a new audience of gamers and football fans.
